Into the Wild leads Actors Guild nominations



The nominations for the Screen Actors Society Awards accept been announced with the Sean Penn-directed 'Into the Wild' leadership the shortlist.
The film's sensation, Emile Hirsch, is nominated for the Best Worker award, with co-stars Hal Holbrook and Catherine Keener shortlisted in the Best Support Worker and Actress categories severally.
The vagabond of 'Into the Wild' are as well nominated for the Best Mould award.
Shortlisted with Hirsch for Best Actor are George III Clooney ('Michael Clayton'), Daniel Day-Lewis ('There Volition Be Blood'), Ryan Gosling ('Lars and the Real number Girl') and Viggo Mortensen ('Eastern Promises').
Cate Blanchett ('Elizabeth: The Golden Age'), Julie Christie ('Away from Her'), Marion Cotillard ('La Contend en Rose'), Angelina Jolie ('A Mighty Heart') and Ellen Sir Frederick Handley Page ('Juno') are nominated for Topper Actress.
Connexion Holbrook on the Charles Herbert Best Support Histrion short list are Casey Affleck ('The Assassination of Jesse St. James the Apostle by the Coward Henry M. Robert Ford'), Javier Bardem ('No Res publica for Old Men'), Tommy Tsung Dao Lee John Paul Jones ('No Country for Old Men') and Tom Wilkinson ('Michael Clayton').
Keener is joined on the Topper Supporting Actress shortlist by Cate Blanchett ('I'm Not There'), Ruby Dee ('American Gangster'), Amy Ryan ('Gone Baby Gone') and Tilda Swinton ('Michael Clayton').
Along with the stars of 'Into the Wild', the actors in '3:10 to Yuma', 'American Gangster', 'Hairspray' and 'No Country for Old Men' are as well nominated for Topper Cast.
The winners will be announced on Sunday 27 Jan.
